Red Road Resident Interviews
In February 2009 journalist Karin Goodwin collaborated with Iseult and Alive and Kicking in gathering some memories from local residents who were the first tenants in the Red Road flats when they opened in the 60’s. Their memories share a time of new beginnings and new hope for the area, giving an important reflection on the current plans for demolition. They are a valuable insight into life on the estate from it’s very start and are important voices for historical records.
